Amber Mohr represents lenders and borrowers in connection with a broad range of affordable housing and real estate transactions, including complex multifamily affordable housing transactions that utilize a variety of sources including commercial construction and permanent loans, federal and state low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equity, bond financing, and local, state and federal loan programs, as well as Section 8 rental subsidies and other financing sources and initiatives for acquisition and development. She has extensive experience with transactions involving public housing conversions under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, including RAD conversions in conjunction with LIHTC transactions and straight RAD conversions of existing mixed-finance public housing developments. Amber also has considerable experience with a variety of HUD programs, including the demolition and disposition of public housing, FHA-insured mortgage programs, the transfer of physical assets (TPA), and energy performance contracting (EPC).

Prior to entering private practice, Amber was an Attorney-Advisor with HUD in the Baltimore Field Office where she closed FHA-insured loans for multifamily and nursing facility projects.
