Julie Zhou is a law clerk in Tiber Hudson’s Washington, D.C. office, where she supports the publicly offered and private placement debt team.
Prior to joining Tiber Hudson, Julie was an insider trading investigator at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, where she worked directly with issuers, broker-dealers, and counsel in surveilling abnormal trading activity prior to material news. In law school, Julie was an Honors Legal Intern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of International Affairs, Division of Corporate Finance, and Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations, where she analyzed compliance issues for pre-IPO companies, helped streamline MD&A disclosure regulations, worked with foreign securities regulators pursuant to MMOU agreements, and tracked broker-dealer examinations through historic ALJ proceedings.
Julie earned her juris doctor from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. She currently serves as a Young Lawyer Representative of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section and Business Law Section.
