Nick Pirulli focuses his practice on representing multiple national lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions, with a concentration on affordable housing products, including preservation transactions, 4% and 9% forward and immediate commitments, short term bonds and acquisition/rehab transactions. These include loans to be purchased by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, and loans made under conventional loan programs, MBS and capital market executions, construction financing, credit enhancement, acquisition financing, bridge financing and existing project refinancing. In addition, Nick has acted as “single counsel” for various Freddie Mac products, including Tax Exempt Loans and TAH loans, and has represented multiple lenders in closing loans under the Fannie Mae M.TEB product line. Nick also has experience in representing for-profit borrowers and developers in commercial real estate financing transactions as well as in corporate matters and FHA related real estate financings.
A transplant from the Bronx, New York, Nick earned his JD from American University and a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University. Nick lives in Kensington, Maryland with his husband Brent and son, Jon.
