WASHINGTON, D.C. —Tiber Hudson LLC has been ranked by Refinitiv as No. 1 underwriter’s counsel for multifamily issues for the seventh year in a row, and, for the first time, No. 1 underwriter’s counsel in the U.S. for all types of municipal issues, based on the number of bond issues closed in 2024. Tiber Hudson has topped the multifamily list every year since its first full year of operation in 2018, but this is the first year that it has been ranked the top underwriter’s counsel for all types of municipal issues.
Refinitiv, one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data, regularly ranks law firms in a variety of categories. According to Refinitiv’s year-end market analysis, Tiber Hudson served as underwriter’s counsel and bond purchaser’s counsel for more than 250 issues that closed in 2024, totaling nearly $6.3 billion and providing housing for families in virtually every state. Tiber Hudson closed more than half of all multifamily affordable housing issuances reported in 2024; these bond issues will in turn contribute to the construction or rehabilitation of more than 35,000 affordable housing units across the country.
