Mr. Peck maintains a national real estate finance practice concentrated primarily on representation of lenders of FHA-insured and USDA-guaranteed multifamily and healthcare mortgage loans. Throughout his career, he has closed hundreds of loans for his clients including several of the largest FHA multifamily loans ever underwritten and the single largest USDA 538 loan. Mr. Peck has particular expertise in complex affordable financing structures involving the use of low-income housing tax credits, bonds, grants, subordinate loans, Section 8 contracts, and HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (“RAD”) program; he has also closed many transactions involving Historic or New Market Tax Credits. Mr. Peck regularly advises lender clients and their borrowers in creative ways to structure transactions in order to meet financing and development goals while remaining in compliance with applicable FHA, USDA and/or GNMA rules and regulations.
Mr. Peck also represents real estate owners and developers around the country, especially those using FHA, USDA, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac financing.
