Tiber Hudson attorneys have served as counsel in all aspects of the construction process including the financing elements, design, and construction. In this capacity, we have served as counsel to public and private owners, lenders, borrowers, developers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and component manufacturers. Our involvement has included structures of various sizes and types, including but not limited to, commercial and housing developments, education facilities, sports arenas, hotels, luxury assisted living facilities, nursing homes, power plants, coal processing plants, oil refineries, roads, bridges, tunnels and parking structures. As developer’s and borrower’s counsel for local developers and charter schools we have been involved in not only the finance elements of these deals but also have assisted these clients in obtaining the necessary building and occupancy permits. In the construction law arena, our attorneys have negotiated and drafted a large multitude of design and construction contracts and have significant experience with the AIA family of contracts. Additionally, our attorneys have represented clients in complex disputes at the project level and in mediation, arbitration, and litigation in front of administrative bodies, arbitrators and local, state and federal courts.
